CASE — Center of Advanced Simulation and Education

CASE is among the first three centres of its kind in the world, applying a special education model with simulated patients, electronic learning and skill laboratories, and the only centre in Türkiye that also includes an Advanced Endoscopic and Robotic Surgery Training Center. It differentiates itself through its medical simulation training modalities and technological infrastructure.

Undergraduate programmes at CASE give students basic clinical and management skills; post-graduate programmes are advanced courses for specialties that aim to maximise technical skills together with teamwork and communication. Special software tracks every training from electronic learning to post-simulation evaluation on a personal basis: data from 80 cameras, simulators and medical devices reach the trainers, giving detailed information about each participant's performance.

Its mission is to improve the clinical and crisis resource management skills of physicians and other healthcare professionals and to increase patient safety through simulation-based education; its vision is to disseminate interdisciplinary and interprofessional simulation-based training, to perform R&D on innovative simulation platforms and to contribute to the development of medical simulation worldwide.
