About this theme

Cancer research at Acıbadem University runs from the bench to the clinic. The Pancreatic Cancer Research Center (PANKAM) studies how nerves and cancer cells interact and how that knowledge can be turned into better treatments; organoid-based research and the biobank give groups patient-derived models to work with; and the School of Medicine's clinical departments carry findings into trials.

The theme draws on the Basic Research Laboratories (cell culture, molecular biology, microscopy), the Electron Microscopy Laboratory and the ACU-DEHAM animal facility, and connects to the Molecular Biology and Genetics department's seminar programme.
