Prof. Devrim Öz Arslan directs the Experimental Animals Application and Research Center (ACU-DEHAM), which was accepted into the AAALAC International accreditation programme on 25 February 2020, one of only two institutions in Türkiye to hold it at the time. The centre occupies about 700 square metres on the first basement floor with five laboratories (behaviour and pain, neurovascular, electrophysiology, cardiovascular, and transgenic animal research and biosafety). She is a member of the Animal Experiments Local Ethics Committee (ACU-HADYEK).
