The Journey of Genetic Data Discussed at the Istanbul University Workshop
At the Workshop on Genetic Investigations in Humans, organized by Istanbul University, Dr. Ozkan Ozdemir presented “From Secure Storage to Responsible Sharing: Biobanking Principles in the Genetic Data Lifecycle,” addressing the full spectrum of genetic data management.
Bringing together experts from law, forensic medicine, medical genetics and research, the workshop offered a comprehensive platform for discussing how genetic data is generated, used and protected.
The project TCR-MAP, with Prof. Günseli Bayram Akçapınar of Medical Biotechnology as a researcher, is selected for funding under the Research Universities Support Programme.
We had the pleasure of welcoming Prof. Geert Mortier, a leading expert in clinical genetics and dysmorphology, to ACURARE.
