A group of ACU Biomaterials Center students attended the 32nd Annual Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB) held during 4–8 September 2022 in Bordeaux, France. It was wonderful to be present at a face-to-face meeting again.

The event titled "Systems Science, System Dynamics Method, and Medical Problems," organized by the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Acibadem University, took place on April 4, 2024. The event aimed to foster information sharing and collaboration.
The event titled 'Designing Biomaterials for the Treatment of Osteoporosis,' organized by the Biomedical Engineering Department of Acıbadem University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, was held on March 7, 2024, at our university.

Our faculty member, from the Department of Medical Biotechnology at the Institute of Health Sciences, Prof. Meltem MUFTUOGLU received patent registration in the USA and Europe for her invention titled "Novel DNA Polymerase Gamma Inhibitor and Uses Thereof”.
The project supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fabienne Dumoulin from our Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences was granted TÜBITAK support
The "World's Most Influential Scientists List-2022," conducted annually by Stanford University scientists, has been published by Elsevier, a Netherlands-based publishing company specializing in scientific, technical, and medical content.
Two different projects led by Assist. Prof. Özgül Gök Özatay from the Biomedical Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences have been granted support within the scope of TÜBİTAK and TÜSEB.
Our Center Director, Prof. Dr. Vasif Hasirci, was a keynote speaker at the "26th National Electron Microscopy Congress" hosted by Eskisehir Technical University between 20-23 September 2023.
