Prof. Serdar Beken is a neonatologist at Acıbadem University School of Medicine and leads the Acıbadem University Pediatrics Research Group (ACUPR). The group's recent publications cover the early postnatal metabolic profile of neonates with critical congenital heart disease, neonatal acute kidney injury after congenital heart surgery, the effect of prenatal diagnosis on outcomes of the arterial switch operation, and the growth of term small-for-gestational-age infants (Cardiology in the Young, Pediatric Nephrology, Frontiers in Pediatrics). He also supervises the School of Medicine's Pediatrics student research group.
